Getting to Odaiba & Toyosu

Half the fun is getting there: by driverless train over Rainbow Bridge, or by boat from Asakusa.

Two lines serve the islands. The Yurikamome, an elevated automated line from Shimbashi, crosses Rainbow Bridge and stops at Odaiba-kaihinkoen, Daiba, Tokyo International Cruise Terminal, Shijo-mae (Toyosu Market), Shin-Toyosu (teamLab Planets) and Toyosu. The Rinkai Line runs underground from Osaki and Shin-Kiba to Tokyo Teleport, with through trains from Shibuya and Shinjuku on the JR Saikyo Line. Fares are approximate; see getting to Tokyo.

Getting around Odaiba & Toyosu

On foot: Odaiba’s main sights — the beach, the statue, Aqua City, Fuji TV and DiverCity — are within 10–15 minutes of each other on elevated walkways. Toyosu Market to teamLab Planets is a 10-minute walk or one Yurikamome stop.

Tip: sit at the very front of the Yurikamome for a driver’s-eye view of the loop onto Rainbow Bridge. A one-day Yurikamome pass pays for itself after three rides.
