Season by season
Spring (March–May)
Cherry trees flower along Sakurazaka at Roppongi Hills, in the Midtown garden and in Shiba Park below Tokyo Tower in late March and early April, with night illumination. In April and early May hundreds of carp streamers fly at Tokyo Tower.
Summer (June–August)
Hot, humid and often wet — a good time for the museums and teamLab. Tokyo Tower and the hotel terraces host summer evening events.
Autumn (September–November)
Clearer skies improve the views from October. The big autumn exhibitions open at the National Art Center and Mori Art Museum.
Winter (December–February)
The best season here: crisp air, far-reaching views and, from November to late December, the blue-and-white illuminations of Keyakizaka with Tokyo Tower at the end of the street.

Our advice
Build the day around your teamLab time slot and finish with a night view. Weekday mornings are the quietest for teamLab Borderless; clear winter evenings are the finest for the towers.
