Asakusa’s sights are free and compact, so what is worth booking are the things that add depth: a guided walk that explains the temple’s rituals, a kimono rental or tea ceremony, the Skytree ticket in advance, and a yakatabune dinner cruise. All listings were checked on GetYourGuide in October 2026; prices are indicative.

Booking tips
- Kimono shops get busy by 10:00. Book the first slot of the day; dressing takes 30–45 minutes and you normally return the kimono by late afternoon.
- Skytree: buy a dated ticket for a clear day if you can, and aim for an hour before sunset.
- Dinner cruises do not all leave from Asakusa itself — check the pier and how to reach it before booking.
